Our storage boxes are the optimal solution for transporting and storing LuxTek plastic road plates. In the boxes you can transport them safely to any place of use. On site, the individual road plates can easily be taken out of the box, even as a single person (except for heavy-duty plates). If the plates are not needed, they can be neatly stacked and stored in the box.
The storage boxes are made of galvanized steel. This is corrosion resistant and durable. You can get the transport boxes in different variants. They differ from each other in size. Depending on the model, the boxes are suitable for the following sizes of driving plates:

Galvanized steel is robust and durable. Galvanizing involves coating the steel with zinc, which gives it a corrosion-resistant surface. To do this, the steel is first cleaned and then immersed in molten zinc. The zinc molecules adhere to the steel, where they come into contact with air. The oxygen creates a zinc oxide, and the CO2 contained in the air causes zinc carbonate to develop. This forms the corrosion-resistant surface that permanently protects the steel.
Galvanized steel is less expensive than stainless steel and retains the protection of its surface even when damaged. This steel has a service life of more than 50 years, depending on the influences from the environment.
Another advantage is the ease of inspection of galvanized steel: damage to the coating can be seen with the naked eye. The thickness of the coating can be measured using simple methods without being damaged.
