PE-HD or PE-300 plastic is an HDPE (high density polyethylene) plastic with good physical properties. Produced in a low-pressure process, this stable, chemical- and weather-resistant plastic is very popular, for example, in chemical tank and plant construction or in the construction industry as floor protection.
Due to its very good chemical resistance to alkalis, salts and acids, HDPE is suitable for a wide range of applications in chemical plant, apparatus and tank construction, even at low temperatures.
The plastic is flexible yet fracture-resistant, and its high impact strength and temperature resistance (-50 degrees to +80degrees) make it well suited for use as floor protection on pavement and asphalt or as event flooring, parking and access roads at events.
PE-HD is very easy to process and a wide variety of processing techniques such as drilling, milling, sawing can be used. By mixing additives, we can also enrich the already versatile material with certain functions and give it, for example, antistatic properties or a desired coloration.
